Curiosity Killed the Cat
The barnyard, and everything with four legs in it.
The barnyard, and everything with four legs in it — the set’s comedy of proverbs, arranged like a walk around the farm. Cats first, since curiosity killed one (it took ten tries). Then the dogs waiting at the top of the stairs, then the pigs, happy in the mud and fully committed to breakfast. Then the smaller creatures and their sayings: the second mouse, two pigeons with one bean, two rabbits, flies and honey. Monkeys, Icarus, and an elephant in the room lead to the finale, where the old sayings pile into one another — raining cats and dogs, a pig in a poke — and someone admits there is more than one way to skin a cat.
