Dig Two Graves

Revenge to forgiveness, with a spaghetti-western swagger. It opens where feuds begin — it’s only funny until someone is bleeding — and takes its title from the old warning: before you set out for revenge, dig two graves. The first movement is gossip, half-truths, jealousy, and the single grain of sand that starts the avalanche. The middle is the fight itself and what it costs: an eye for an eye, the ants crushed under fighting elephants. Then the turn — every villain believes he’s the hero, an emotion lasts ninety seconds, what is said can only be forgiven. It rides out on kindness, and on a sun that shines the same on the good and the bad.
