In the Beginning

Creation to the end times, told with a smile. The first eight haiga are the six days and the seventh, when God is tired enough to take a nap, with one question — what is beyond change? — rung between them like a bell. Then the fall, the flood, forty days in the desert, and the church calendar from burning palms to a hangover on Ash Wednesday. The middle turns to the big questions: the watchmaker, turtles all the way down, angels dancing on a pin. The last movement plays the apocalypse for laughs (Nostradamus might have warned us) before settling honestly: no one knows what happens after death, and everything boomerangs from nothing back to nothing.
